Hi all.
I was putting the front suspension back on the car today. I got the cracked
a-frame mount all welded up with a grade 8 washer welded in for extra support.
(MIG with gas is pretty easy, even for a beginner like me. My welds were ugly,
but they were strong.)
Anyway, on the left side, after tightening up the top kingpin nut, the swivel
axle moves real stiffly (almost stuck!). Bently says to add or remove shims to
correct the steering stiffness. I take it apart and look -aha! no shims, so I
gotta add some! Moss doesn't list any, so where can I find some? Are they in
standard sizes?
