I seem to remember some advice on loose steering that involved the pin in
the steering column.
My '68 appears to have most of it's "slop" at the joint inder the carbs.
Looks like a pin holds the two pieces of the column together (this is a
collapsible DOT-mandated type column). Can anybody advise me or forward me
the old mail regarding this? I looked in the archives and couldn't come up
with anything.
