I might be just a loose or dirty connection on the battery. Or a bum
solenoid. Try jumping the solenoid with a stout old screwdriver blade.
Jump across both large terminals. If it cranks, the solenoid is bad.
If not, the problem is elsewhere. Warning, it will make a spark, be
aware of this so you don't jump back into anything.
Cleaning the terminals on the solenoid won't hurt either.
