Datsun motor in a Spridget

I know that Gerard has done a Datsun motor/tranny
swap into a Minor, but has anybody done it on 
a Spridget?  Thinking about converting my
perpetual Bugeye project car.

What motor/tranny would I be looking for? 
(not that I need a 4th engine in the garage, 
the wife would probably kill me!)
