That's why alot of us opt for the 1275.
Check your timing, it may be too far retarded. Or the vacuum advance may
be shot not allowing the timing to advance with accelleration.

I have been using grease for over 30 years will never a rack failure.
90wt oil can be bought from a boat/marine supply as lower unit gear oil.
Some tubes are made to fit over a grease nipple. Get the no frills
stuff.
