I don't know if my '72 was oddly wired by some DPO or what, but it had a
strange phenomenon when I bought it. Only the high beams would work. After
many hours of tracing wiring and scouring wiring diagrams I found out that
the door warning buzzer had been disconnected. I plugged it back in and the
headlights worked properly. Hence I quickly bypassed the buzzer and was back
in business.
