"If a Dog Were Your Teacher, This is What You'd Learn" (found this in a
newsletter, author was not cited. It has been slightly modified for LBC
content, please feel free to insert your favorite animal pet or brand of
beer where appropriate).
~ When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
~ Never pass up the opportunity for a joyride.
~ Allow the experience of fresh air and wind in your face to be pure
ecstasy.
~ Take naps, and stretch before rising.
~ Run, romp, and play daily.
~ Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
~ On hot days, drink lots of water (or insert favorite beverage here),
and lay under a shady tree.
~ Delight in the simple joy of a long walk (or drive).
~ Eat and drink with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you've had enough.
~ Be loyal to your friends.
~ Never pretend to be something that you are not.
~ If what you want is buried, keep digging until you find it (or solve
it).
~ When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle
them. (I do this with my Sprite a lot)
Have a wildly fun Labor Day weekend, and remember: Safety Fast!
