Hello Roger,

(DISCLAIMER--- i'm an electricain, not a mechanic!)

we have charts at work, whenever we do ELECTRICAL hook ups with
grade 5 bolts we do 42 ft lbs on a 1/2" and if we do a retorque
up to 45. . with 3/8 we do 28 ft lbs. .. but, we are using
bellville washers, not lock washers. .. AND we NEVER re-use
bolts or nuts. (or washers) if we have to take em off after
they have been torqued, its time for NEW ones.
