They were probably made by Ronal.  They had a model appropriately called "The 
Bear."  Years ago, I was at the local Mazda Porsche Audi dealer, and they had 
fitted several new Miatas with those wheels, some in silver and some painted 
white.  There was a 25 year-old woman there, buying a red Miata with the 
white teddy bear wheels.   

I never rode in a Miata again.
