Thanxs to all that replied to my question. I burnt up a pressure washer
cleaning up 35 years of grease but I did find a date, actually two of them.
The flat by the socket on the left was Y. 65, under the stick in stick
shifter by the oil seal was V. 65. So my guess is that it's fairly safe to
say that tranny is a 1965.
