Brad and List,
About these brake masters leaking all over our
little cars, let me tell you about my recent
experience. Had the same problem one day on the
vintage race car. Went to load car in trailer and
found fluid all over the floor, no problem, took spare
out of box and installed it and went racing. Entering
a 2nd gear corner from flat out 4th gear speed, hit
the brakes and foot slips off the pedal!!
Pucker factor of 10 but gather everything up and make
it through the corner and same thing happens again at
the next braking area. Drive car carefully into pits.
Found that lots of fluid had accumulated behind the
brake pedal pad and had made that pad so soft that it
slipped off the pedal leaving lots of fluid behind and
very slippery. So don't forget to clean EVERYTHING!!
