They are around in the UK now.
They have managed to get in sufficient styling features to be clearly
recognisable as a successor to the mini - as any picture shows.
But when you do see them in real life they are just a whole lot
bigger!  having "grown up with minis", I still far and away prefer the
looks of the original.

Which reminds me to comment - there was a lot recently on the SUV
"thread" -I hate that word - (obligatory comment) with frequent
mention of Minivans.  Always amuses me this one as of course in the UK
a minivan is very specifically a van version (had 3 of these) of the
original mini saloon (had 3, including an "S" used for rallying).  So
common on the roads at one time, but rarely seen these days.  There
was also an "estate" version - including a "woody" - (had 2 of those!)
