Hi,
This is off-list, but, hell, this IS more important.
My thoughts are with all my fellow Spridget listers affected by these
horrible deeds.
A year ago, (both yesterday and today), I and my family drove around NY
city. Focal
point was WTC. Son had been up there, earlier. Now, nothing but rubble.
Words are hardly able to express the sorrow and hurt I feel for all the poor
unfortunate people caught up in this tragedy. To say "I'm sorry for you"
seems just
so trite.
We in Ireland have suffered at the hands of terrorists for many years,
including bomb
attacks in our capital city, Dublin. Belfast torn asunder. I remember the
anguish at
the time of not knowing the whereabouts of friends... phones not working...
panic attacks.
With the help of your Mr George Mitchell, this has ceased. I pray you too
find a way to
resolve the sense of anger you must be feeling, the "Why, why, why" in your
minds, and
that appropriate action is taken so that decent people can go about their
daily lives in safety.
All of you, take care. "Big Bear" hug one another.
Ron in Ireland.
