I got the transplanted engine started today. I have 3 glitches that I am
aware of.
- wire inside dist is broken. ( spliced together for now )
- accelerator doesn't return properly
AND
- the rad leaks
I need advice on the downflow rad. I must have applied undue pressure on
the inlet? pipe when clamping on the upper hose. There is a leak where the
pipe meets the rad. I really don't want to pull the rad. A rad shop can
probably repair this without taking it out. My big question is: How is this
repair done? Brazing? Soldering? Stop-leak?( That's a joke, lads!)
I don't want to drive the car to a rad shop with the distributor as it is.
If it is soldering, I can probably do it. ( How? ) If it is brazing, then
I am probably out of luck for another week.
