| Check the ends of the cable if it has the little metal caps. The inner (cable) tends to wear on the caps and puts a little groove in them. Then the inner starts to drag... Especially if you use a bicycle cable. Kent Subject: Accelerator problem I have had a problem with the accelerator on the 71 Midget since I rebuilt the engine this past winter.It sure takes the pleasure out of driving when it takes all your weight to press down the accelerator. |
