Electric fans draw moderate current, but 10 minutes should not totally
drain your battery.  Turn on everything electric: fan, heater,
headlights(bright), radio, etc. and check the voltage with a voltmeter.
You can check at the battery.  Your alternator (generator?) should be
able to put out about 13-14 volts with everything running.  If it isn't,
find a Mitsubishi in a junk yard and get the alternator.  It should fit
with little modification.
