There is a listing for two different rear bearing carriers for early cars.
I have several marked 2A 7087 but there are also some listed with BTA490.
The BTA ones are said to be for WW cars. Since the 2A 7087 is actually cast
into the metal of the carrier, I'm thinking that there may actually be a
slight difference in the construction of the BTA (Wire Wheel) ones. If
anyone has far too much time on their hands, can they let me know if they
have a BTA one in their possession? I'd like a couple of quick measurements
off of it. I know the studs are different lengths, but I have a vague
feeling there might be something else. Humour me?
TIA
