Jim,
I think the Healey family still owns the Healey name,
See http://www.mgcars.org.uk/midgetspriteclub/news1/plastic_frog.htm but I
think Austin Healey is Rover's.
The subject of an Austin Healey revival come's up every now and then. I
have illustrations of some prototypes, but to me the Z8 is very reminiscent
of the Big Healey contours, and have always thought so from the first time
I saw it (coincidence?). You can bet the price will be up there too!
