I've got a 1992 Honda Accord that I have had since new with 198,000 miles on
it. It has never had anything other than 5W30 wt oil in it and no problems
in winter or summer, but I live in Southern California. It does get below
freezing sometimes in the winter, but not like back east. The car still
runs great.
