Do the earlier spridgets engage the starter solenoid not through the key like later Spridgets and modern cars? In the recent History Channel Great escape with a Sprite mk2, it seemed like the sprite was started by pulling a switch. I don't know if it was the choke, or if it was a starter switch. I do know the key is moutned on the dash, but not sure if it is just the ignition or the starter. Thanks Toby |
