Reverse switch is located on the transmission shifter extension.
Frequently trans are swapped, they fit fine, but not all of these
extensions had the reverse switch on them.

Re: backup light switch location

Can anyone tell me where the h*** the backup light switch is (supposed) to
be
located on the transmission of a '74 Meejit? I've been crawling around
under
there for the past half hour and although I found the two (disconnected)
wires,
I can't find the switch. In good ol Massachusetts now, EVERYTHING has to
work
on the car to pass the inspection!!! I tried the archives, but the server
is
apparently as dead as my backup lites.

thanks

Geoff Branch '74 Meejit "Yellow Peril"
