Me too! Whenever the GPS systems are in place, I am sure there will be a run
of tech articles telling us how to disconnect the transmitters. I will
certainly want to read them. And I was wondering: Are the photo shots of
license plates taken from above? Is there a "shuttered" license plate cover
that allows clear reading from directly behind but disallows viewing from
above? Sort of like a venetian blind effect? Just a thought.
It isnt that I really do anything against the law--I DO travel consistently
at 55-60 whether on straights or curves with speed signs, but I hate the
idea that some goon is monitering me constantly. And further, that I am
PAYING for him/her/it (in case of vegetable) to monitor me constantly. I
refuse to carry a beeper for the same reason. Sometimes I don't WANT to be
found.
I would attempt to disable the system.
