In all honesty, I have never had our '68 over 80 mph. The motor is all original (never been opened or rebuilt) and is quite tired. But it is still running, just not charging. Ed!! please try getting another NON-ASIAN regulator for me please!! Anyone who falls asleep behind the wheel of these cars is asking for trouble. I had a guy comment to me the other day how his nice shiny Jeep could drive right over my Midget. When I get a hull that I am parting out, I will let him try (after I pull off the good parts that is) it will be fun to see him put his Jeep where his mouth is....................
