I saw this on a local site in San Francisco. The guy
has lots of good pictures that he can send you if
you're interested in a Riley.
Not my car, etc.

diagrams of the vehicle and procedures for all

rare than the car itself! It's also very helpful!
A beatiful gem from the British Motors Corporation
(BMC)...Ever heard of a
Riley before? Probably not! That's because there
aren't that many of them
around. I personally had never seen one before I laid
eyes on this beauty. This
vehicle was garaged for years and years...It's got
approx. 36,000 original
miles and comes with a genuine "next oil change due at
37K miles" sticker from
the 1960's or there abouts. The interior is original
and beautiful, light blue
and white. Original headliner in great shape. Wood
dashboard with original
Lucas instruments plus another set of instruments
added sometime back. Wood
paneling on the doors. Lots and lots of chrome. You
must see pictures,
available by writing me email.
Parts are available though sometimes it takes a little
searching. Vehicle has a
new set of tires and some new brake work.
The vehicle will require the following to be totally
road worthy:
1. A little more brake work, probably just new pads
and maybe the front left
cylinder (not the Master!).
Vehicle will require the following to be fully
restored:
1. Minor minor minor body work and a new paint job.
2. Minor interior cleanup and random parts
replacement.
3. Minor wire work.
Why am I selling it? Third car in the City (what was I
thinking?!)? No! Another
project when my wife and I don't even have time to
take the dog on a good walk
in the evenings? NO! Another expense when we're saving
to buy a house? NO!
Damn it! I guess it's time to sell the Riley!
Pictures are available. Write me email.
