The upper section of the tail lights on a 71 are the park/brake lights.
(2 filament bulb)
The lower section (amber) is the signal. (1 filament bulb)
This is exactly the opposite from 61 to 70 Spridgets.
Or some one stuck early stuyle tail lights in your 71.
