The rear axle U-bolts and shocks on my 77 Midget appear to be held on with what looks like ny-loc nuts and lock washers. My question is should I reassemble with new ny-loc nuts and lock washer or will regular nuts work. The nuts that came off look like old fashion self-locking nuts. BTW, I can only spin them on about 2/3 of the way by hand. Thanks, Bill 77 Midget PS. I seem to be having trouble sending items to the list. Messages sent to the list just don't appear. |
