Yep, my wife and I have stayed in just about every small town in West Texas,
and the majority of economical hotels are owned by Pakistanis, Indians, or
some such. Most are short tempered and rude, not really suited to running a
motel. One wonders if some investor somewhere is running ads in their home
country "Move to America, Run a Motel!" ???
R. Houston...last one we stayed in was in Irann, TX...but that's prnounced
Ira...Ann, after the two founding pioneers. Not much there but desert and
oil wells.
