Castor oil

Castor oil was used in WWI airplane fuel.  Dawn patrol led to the strong
urge to indulge in a bombing run.  More than one pilot was found with pants
around ankles, crashed while trying to answer the call.

I wonder, did you early racers notice this effect? A long time in the RC
plane pits will still do it to you if you hang with the old guys that don't
burn the synthetic.
