| Hi List,
I am planning to do some rear axle work in the future and plan to retire my
trusty axle nut box spanner and buy a Snap-On socket so I can torque the nut
up with a torque wrench. In fact I bought a nut to be sure of buying the
exact size socket.
The trusty axle nut box spanner that fits like a glove whenever I use it
looks to be just right for a 1 7/8 nut. But the nut that I bought from you
know who is bang on 1 13/16".
Daniel1312 (planning to return the nut - which was never the right colour of
metal anyway, to you know who, when he gets time)

<< Hi Larry,

Nut size is 1 7/8" or a medium cold chisel and medium hammer.
