I averaged 100 rpm for each mph (at speed of 55-65, 5500-6500 rpm) on the way
into town. On the way back that has changed to about 500 rpm more at speed.
The problem is not eliminated as the tack reads much lower than before, at
least the tach doesn't stick on the pin anymore, requiring me to tap the tach
face to get it to bounce back down at idle. I wonder, are there any listers
that have done a "proper" restoration to the Spridget that got ALL the "bugs"
out. Maybe that is why Frank says to insist on genuine British parts, the
"bugs" were factory installed and the genuine parts keep them alive and
kicking!! <G> Brad
