I just did that very thing.
I simply wiped it down with pure Acetone.
Cleaned it up beautifuly, and left it white to boot!

Subject: Spridget Windscreen Washer Bottles
Does anyone know of a way to clean the white plastic windshield washer
bottles to get the crud and stains off/out and then bleach them back to
their original white color? Or, if this is not possible, does anyone know
if original style bottles are still available anywhere for the Mark I
Midgets or Mark II Sprites?
Thanks,
Bob
