I got an inexpensive black steering wheel from Pep Boys made by Grant.  They
have adaptors for Midgets of most years.  The wheel and adaptor cost under
$100, and look pretty sharp.  The adaptor had to be ordered, but only took
one day to get.

For a we tight fix, if you find a cheap used Grant wheel, you can probably
still use that and just get the adaptor ($25 or so).

They make more expensive ones, too that look like spoked wheels, etc...
