Sorry. The haze is caused by the plastic film discoloring that is BETWEEN
the two sheets of glass. That is what safety glass is. No amount of buffing
will get to the plastic. Various theories as to why it happens are that the
dash outgasses affect the plastic, or the sun affects it...
Only sure cure is new glass. In Pennsylvania, the windshield is allowed to
have two inches of discoloration from the edges and will still pass
inspection. In a Midget, that doesn't leave much!
