O.K. - everyone else is fessing-up so here goes...
I'm 47. My first LBC was a '62 Sunbeam Alpine that I owned through college
('70-'74), followed by a '58 Bug-eye (I sure wish I still had that car). I
bought it for $100.00 from my neighbor across the street that had started
using it as a parts-car to keep his girlfriend's Midget running! We just
pushed it across the street and the deal was done.
A string of boring 'practical' cars followed, then about 10 years ago I
acquired a 1958 Morris Minor with only 6400 miles on the clock (yes, the
proverbial 'found it in a barn' story). I still have the Morris and have
since restored a 1968 MBGBT and am presently working on a 1974 Midget which
I have decided to convert to an Arkley. I will be taking pictures during the
process and posting them for those who are interested.
