Greg, The manufacturer recommended oil is 20w-50. My 1275 has been completely rebuilt, and at startup, I have about 80-90lbs pressure at idle, after the engine is 'hot' it settles down to around 40lbs at idle, and around 60lbs at cruising speed. My figures may be a little higher than standard, however, since I have all new bearings, and a 'precision' sure-flow oil pump installed. Regards, Bryan Vsndiver (59-bugeye) San Jose, CA |
