There's NOTHING better than Safety Cable. It is gradually replacing Safety
Wire. About 7 years ago Safety Cable was developed by General Electric for
their jet engines. Now used by many in the aerospace industry including
the airlines, military and NASA. No sharp ends/pigtails to cause injury.
No direction of twist/ twist per inch to worry about. Neutral between
fasteners is acceptable. Tool dependent system, no training/practice
necessary. Its a stainless steel cable with stainless endfittings that are
swaged and
crimped on. Comes in the same diameters as safety wire. Much stronger and
less than half the weight.
