  My Midget 1500 only works with 94 octane gas. Otherwise
it runs on, and sometimes even pings.

  My MG Magnettes, my MGB, and my Jag seem happy on
anything that burns, but the Midget is finnicky.

  Probably the high compression. The california models
had lower compression and might run on anything.
