Like Bob Said, all locks have a # on or near them. Later models have them on the inside back of the switch. My bugeye has it on the outside face. I got keys for the A40 door locks by just telling the locksmith the code #. Also, most (not all) Midgets did have a spare key hidden on the car. So did Jaguars. The Misdgets had them under the metal cap on the brake pedal assembly.
