Daniel, 

You 69 also has a metal dash and probably only 2 wipers.
US 69s had padded dashboards, 3 wipers because US safty says "20 inches
of wiper minimum so the Brits just added another 9" blade making 27
inches, this sure beat redesigning the windscreen so a 10" blade would
fit.
Our 69s also had a collapsable steering column thus the horn on the
side.
