Hi List,
The A+ is in reality just a different block casting of the 1275 A-Series
engine. Ok some of guts might be different too but should all be
interchangeable.
There is an A+ block for the tranverse installation (Mini, Metro) and one for
the in-line - Marina, Ital, etc. (the early Marina also had a variation from
the Sprite in-line block casting)
Tuning opinion is divided as to whether the A+ block while stronger is any
better (thinner wall casting or something).
All things considered it is nothing to get excited about.
