Don, I use a pitman arm puller to pop mine apart, you should be able to thread the nut back on to the link so that the threads do not get damaged and whack it out of there. Alternatively you can unbolt the link from the spring mount and remove the damper and link as an assembly and get it out into the open where it's easier to work on. Regards, Peter S. |
