thanks to everyone that has responded to my 71 midget question... all i can
say is wow, what a turnout!

As for my decision, I've accepted that the " spridgets list members" are the
most knowledgable in this area and I will not buy the vehicle.  I agree with
many of you that the rubber and storage problems are more than what meets the
eye.
