I cleaned my tranny with brake cleaner--opened up the top plate and washed all the crud and grease away and out the drain hole. I used 2 cans of the stuff I think. It worked very well--then I sprayed it with WD40 to drive out any cleaner left. The guts are clean. Of course I had the tranny on the workbench. --David |
