Hi Herb,
Quite a few people have done this in the UK. Although it is possible to
rebuild the 1500 Midget box to take the Spit o/d unit the work is considerable
and everyone just fits the o/d box & o/d in one hit. I don't know of any
potential problems - it seems relatively straightforward.
