The 'drivers' are called wheel boxes, at least here in the old country. If
you get a seized one (or 2) drill a small 1/8" hole in the shaft and squirt a
silicone lubricant in the hole. Clamp the box in a vice and with a wiper arm
attached for leverage work the unit with more silicone lubricant (do you guys
have WD40 in the USA?) till it spins like a top.

New wheel boxes are very expensive.

Forget all about that useless steel tube that costs a mint and comes
straight!!

Get some small bore copper pipe (central heating/plumbing pipe in UK) and use
that instead. You can get it in a larger size than the standard steel stuff
and because it is copper it is nice and soft to bend.

Use a later wiper motor with 2 speeds but fit the Sprite drive cog for correct
sweep.

If the motor is even slightly mis aligned the wiper sweep is slow.

IT RAINS A LOT IN THE OLD COUNTRY
