My Bugeye has a scratchbuilt wiring harness and is negative ground. The tach is electronic and looks just like the one in a Mk IV. My tach is somewhat erratic and tends to read a couple thousand RPM high. I got to wondering if there should be a voltage regulator on the tach's power. Mine doesn't have one. Anybody know?
