Paul-- I have baked quite a few of my Sprite's parts--lucky you to have an oven of your very own and won't have to stink up the house. LOL. Sandblasting is just fine--prepares the parts well. I heat the oven to 350 degrees, give the parts a medium coat of primer, sand, then a medium coat of glossy emamel,and place it inthe oven to bake for 30 - 45 minutes. I like to make small coathanger hooks to suspend the parts fromt he bottom of the rack. Nice hard glossy finish when completed. ---David |
