Car hoist

After once again jacking the car up to put body stands underneath so I can do
maintenance I ask my self why are you doing this?  Go design and build your
self a ramp/hoist for the car.  Immediately followed by I saw some "back yard"
ramp/hoist at the Carlisle show and there is a whole newsgroup out there that
hopefully has some comments or experience with such things.  Any
recommendations or units to stay away from?
