I took an oil cooler off a '70 Midget to put on my '73. Dunno if it
was "factory option", but it looked like it belonged there and the bolt
holes were there.
It fit ahead of the water radiator and behind the grille. Bolted to
each side and sits tilted slightly to the rear at the top. The hoses
pass through one or two (I forget) existing holes to the right of the
water radiator. Easy installation.
