I am inclined to agree with you about redesigning the suspension parts, as I
said, I was just lying there and contemplating.  
I last rebuilt the outer pivot points (refurbished wishbone, new pivot pins,
lots of grease) about 40,000 miles ago so they havn't done so badly.  I think
this time I do it I will add an extra grease nipple to the blanked off plug at
theother end.
As for the inner pivots I'm not surewhy they won't stay put. Perhaps the
larger hole has become elongated.
